The problem

What breaks when a store crosses a border. Most brands copy their store, run it through a translator and hope for the best. Sales don't follow, because buyers notice right away.

Prices in the wrong currency.(01)

Shoppers leave when they have to guess the final price or pay conversion fees at checkout.

How we fix it

Translation that sounds off.(02)

Machine-translated pages read like a foreign store, and trust drops with every odd sentence.

How we fix it

The wrong payment methods.(03)

Pix in Brazil, Webpay in Chile, Bizum in Spain: without the local favorite, carts are abandoned.

How we fix it

Shipping and taxes that don't add up.(04)

Wrong rates, surprise duties and slow delivery estimates turn a sale into a support ticket.

How we fix it

Versions competing on Google.(05)

Without international SEO, your country sites fight each other and the wrong one ranks.

How we fix it

Visitors in the wrong country.(06)

A Spanish customer landing on the US store sees dollars and English, and rarely finds the way back.

Live example

You're looking at it.

TechCommerce runs in 4 countries, 3 languages and 4 currencies. When someone lands on our home page, the site checks their browser language and suggests their country's site. Try it as a visitor from somewhere else.

The same setup we build for US brands expanding into Latin America and Spain.

How it works

From one market to many, step by step.

  1. Market diagnosis

Which countries to open first, local competitors, payment habits and shipping realities.

  2. Architecture

Platform, domains or subfolders, catalog and pricing rules for each market.

  3. Localization

Copy, currency, taxes, payments and shipping adapted for each country.

  4. Launch by country

Each market goes live tested, with routing and international SEO in place.

  5. Measure and adjust

Results tracked per country, so the next market opens on real data.

Questions

Before you expand.

Do I need a separate domain for each country?

Not necessarily. Country domains (like .es or .cl) build local trust; subfolders (like /es/) keep all authority on one domain and are simpler to manage. We recommend one or the other based on your markets and budget.

Do I need a company in each country?

Often you can start selling from your current company. Taxes, invoicing and local payment providers can change that, so we map the requirements for each market during discovery and work alongside your accountant.

Can I keep a single inventory?

Yes. Platforms like Shopify Markets and BigCommerce can sell to several countries from one inventory, or split stock by warehouse when shipping times require it.

What happens to my current store's SEO?

We keep your current rankings and add the new markets with hreflang and per-country sitemaps, so Google shows each country its own version instead of mixing them.

Which countries do you work with?

We operate in the United States, Brazil, Spain and Chile, in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and we help US brands launch in Mexico, Colombia, Peru and the rest of Latin America as well.
